Outside of the fact that she was bullied for her appearance, there's really nothing to suggest that Arya is ugly. Catelyn does say that she isn't as pretty as Sansa but the emphasis was on how messy she was from playing and her state of dress. Her remarks on Dacey Mormont ( who has a long face like Arya's at that) being pretty when she put on a dress instead of armor make it clear that she associates traditional feminity with beauty. She even tells Arya that she could be pretty if she weren't so messy and dressed properly.

The fact that this is such a debate in fandom when it's written plainly in the books is crazy to me, but I guess people just need this little girl with self-esteem issues to be ugly or they can't cope.

You heard it here first: being a highborn hostage (with consistent quality food, luxurious living conditions, fancy clothing, servants to see to one's needs, etc) is worse than being homeless, having to resort to eating insects due to lack of food, traveling through a war zone with no protection, being captured and forced into unsanitary living conditions while others are being tortured around you, being forced into slavery that includes hard labor with only slightly better living conditions, and being at the mercy of anyone who happens by and wants to hurt you. It's astounding what Stansas will say to minimize Arya's character and experience just to make Sansa's comparatively easier experience more harrowing. This is up there with them saying that slavery is actually good bc they hate Dany, who is an abolitionist.

Also, Sansa tried to kill Joff. The Hound stopped her by putting himself between her and Joff. But that doesn't fit their preferred narrative, so they pretend that didn't happen. Sansa also lashes out verbally several times and has to be physically restrained a couple times, once after starting a fire. If she wasn't killed bc she's valuable, then Arya - who had self-control enough to behave in a worse situation where she held no value to her captors - would have survived KL with ease.

well they found debris…. I’m almost sure the whole thing imploded on its way down right when the communication was cut and the passengers have been long gone for days now

this just does to show that the ocean is unforgiving and when things go wrong, they go catastrophically wrong

and the reason why submarines and submersibles should get certified and have several safety backup regulations isn’t to “get in the way of innovation” for greedy CEOs who want to make money - it’s to keep people alive and avoid unnecessary deaths and waste of resources

so I guess the debris found is the landing frame and back cover of the submersible - the hull hasn’t been found yet (where the men were) but it pretty much suggests that there was an implosion and all the passengers are gone
